Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. The short version

Flempy is an AI hardware design tool for low-voltage, battery-powered projects. You sign in with Google, describe what you want to build, and our AI generates a schematic and a bill of materials. You can subscribe monthly to the Basic or Pro plan.

Don't use Flempy for mains-voltage (AC), unprotected lithium batteries, or safety-critical designs. We can't guarantee the output is correct. You're responsible for verifying any design before building or powering on hardware.

2. The agreement

By creating an account or using Flempy, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after we post updated terms means you accept them.

3. Who can use Flempy

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher). You're responsible for keeping your account secure.

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • Use Flempy to design mains-voltage (AC) devices.
  • Use Flempy to design products with unprotected lithium chemistries (LiPo, Li-ion) for resale. Protected cells or battery packs with proper BMS are fine for personal projects.
  • Use Flempy to design safety-critical systems (medical, aerospace, automotive, life-support).
  • Use Flempy to generate or facilitate harmful, illegal, or malicious hardware — weapons, jamming devices, surveillance without consent, circumvention devices.
  • Resell or white-label Flempy-generated output as your own professional engineering work without disclosing the tool.
  • Abuse the service — scraping, reverse-engineering our APIs, attempting to exhaust quota through automation.

5. Your content and designs

You own the designs you create with Flempy. We take a limited license to store them, process them through our AI pipeline, and display them back to you in the interface. We don't sell your designs or train models on them without explicit opt-in.

AI-generated output may contain mistakes or unsafe choices. You accept responsibility for reviewing any design before manufacturing or powering on hardware.

6. Subscriptions and payments

We bill monthly through Stripe. Cancelling stops renewal at the end of your current billing cycle — you keep your runs through that period. Manage your subscription, update payment methods, and download invoices from the billing portal linked in Settings.

Refunds are handled case-by-case. Email billing@flempy.com if you'd like to request one within 14 days of purchase.

7. Service availability

Flempy is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uptime or bug-free operation. We aim for professional reliability but can't promise it.

8. Termination

You can close your account any time from the settings page. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms — we'll notify you unless the violation is severe (fraud, abuse, illegal use).

9. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law: Flempy isn't liable for damages arising from use of the service — including damage to hardware you build from Flempy-generated designs. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes

We can change these terms. Material changes get an email notice and/or an in-app banner at least 7 days before they take effect.
